June 17th Golf Classic
Join us for a fantastic morning of golf at Oakview golf course near Gretna MB. This is a 9-hole Texas scramble tournament (teams of 4 golfers). The tournament will begin at 9 am, with various fun events and refreshments taking place on the course. Enjoy some our refreshing fresh-squeezed lemonade that you can usually only get at our summer BBQs, try to see if you can win the prize for longest drive (of a jumbo marshmellow) and more fun extras during the tournament.
Day of the event: registration will open at 8am on June 17, with the tournament scheduled to start at 9:00am. Upon registration you will receive your tournament package, Powercart rental (if reserved), and instructions and schedule of the event. Once all teams are done the 9 holes everyone is invited to stay for lunch where we will also raffle prizes, and give out tournament awards/prizes. After which the event will be concluded and we will start planning our 2024 event!
Want to play in the tournament? Tournament entry is $100 per golfer and includes tournament entry, fun extras, lunch, and raffles. Each entry will also receive a tax deductible receipt for $50.
NOTE: Powercarts are available for tournament participants, but quantities are limited. So if you would like a powercart provided by Oakview please let us know (and the name of your co-rider). Everyone is also welcome to use their own powercart or walk the course if they would like.
Want to sponsor a hole? If you would like to be a hole sponsor for the tournament, we would welcome your support. Your sponsorship of $600 gets your signage at a designated hole, entrance event sign, and on our various online and social media promotional materials.
