Known Youth Apologetics Conference.
We are excited to host our very first apologetics conference February 22nd here at YFC Altona (35 6th St SE Altona). This event is completely free for all attendees and we hope it will be a blessing to our local youth, equipping them to know their faith, defend it, and proclaim the Gospel. The event will start at 1pm and should wrap up by 9pm. We have a group of local pastors and ministry leaders speaking on topics and themes that our youth are facing and have questions about.
Key Topics and Event Features:
The inerrancy, importance and value of the Bible
The imago Dei (pro life, sexuality, gender, orthodox christian view of identity)
Why trust Christianity among other religions
Witnessing and sharing your faith
Q&A session with session leaders
Time of prayer and worship
Snacks and supper
Goal:
To provide meaningful information to equip youth to know their faith and defend their faith. Create a strong faith community and a means to provide resources and follow up. It is my hope that this becomes an ongoing event and could be a catalyst for change within our community.
We hope to host as many people as possible, but we also want to ensure we provide enough food and snacks. So please contact us to let us know if you plan on attending or bringing a group. We look forward to seeing you there!
